What The Captain America: Brave New World Clip Means
After his introduction in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, it was always clear that Samuel had a very special fascination with science, which is why his big revealing moment in Captain America: Brave New World is a major payoff to his comic book roots. As Nelson describes himself, Samuel having this big hunger for knowledge and information is what makes him a compelling villain. The Icarus analogy is also a solid way to describe Samuel’s trajectory, given how he has to pay severely for his desire.
Our Take On The Captain America: Brave New World Clip
Hearing how complex Samuel is as a character from Nelson himself, it will be fascinating to see where the MCU takes him next, as – based on the Captain America: Brave New World ending – his story may not be fully done yet. Whether or not The Leader is someone who may emerge in Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars remains to be seen, but given he knows about “other worlds,” it wouldn’t be shocking if Phase 6 brings him back. Hopefully, Captain America: Brave New World is not the last time fans get to see The Leader in action.
Captain America: Brave New World debuts on digital platforms starting on April 15, followed by its 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 13.
