Thunderbolts* 4DX Poster Highlights The MCU’s Biggest Team-Up In Years

Some of the H๏τtest characters in the MCU reunite for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts*, and ScreenRant has a first look at the 4DX version of the poster. The new movie does not revolve around your average Avengers team-up, instead featuring antiheroes such as the new Black Widow, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), and her surrogate father, Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour). It also features Captain America fan-favorite Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and the more recently introduced US Agent (Wyatt Russell), as well as Ant-Man and the Wasp‘s Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen).

These offbeat heroes were recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), who has shown herself to be nothing like Nick Fury. Thunderbolts* further distinguishes itself from previous MCU Avengers installments through its behind-the-scenes pedigree, which is made up of Beef director Jake Schreier and writer Lee Sung Jin. It is perhaps for this reason that the recent marketing strategy has been to compare the new film to something out of the A24 lineup, a tack that veers between tongue-in-cheek satire and a genuine hint at previously unseen character exploration for the supes in question.

Get a closer look at the Thunderbolts* team in the exclusive 4DX poster below, and keep reading to learn more about the exciting new format and what it can offer audiences looking for a top-notch MCU experience.

Why Thunderbolts* Is The Ultimate Candidate For The 4DX Treatment

Reunite With Fan-Favorite MCU Characters On A 4DX Screen

4DX has made its mark on the industry by providing moviegoers with a multi-sensory cinema-going experience, allowing audiences to experience Thunderbolts* on a whole new level. The technology uses motion, vibration, scents, and other special effects to achieve an almost theme park-esque attraction for the movie’s runtime, which heightens the excitement already offered by seeing some of the MCU’s most beloved antiheroes team up. Fight sequences are enhanced, transporting viewers directly to the action and letting them do battle alongside the likes of Yelena’s Black Window, Winter Soldier, and more.

Thanks to 4DX’s advanced audio system, movie audiences will also be able to interactively engage with the events onscreen, elevating the latest MCU adventure. Not only will the superhero film feel more action-packed than ever, but fans will get a chance to feel closer to Ghost, Red Guardian, and other fan favorites. Thunderbolts* is a perfect film for the 4DX setting, where each auditorium incorporates motion-based seating synchronized with more than 21 different effects and optimized by a team of skilled editors. There are over 790 4DX auditoriums around the world to date, spanning over 70 countries.

Thunderbolts* arrives in theaters on May 2 and is available in the multi-sensory cinema-going experience of 4DX.
