This Incredible Star Wars Minecraft Recreates Coruscant, Spanning 36 Million Blocks & Over 800 Blocks Tall

This incredible Minecraft replica of the Star Wars planet Coruscant will truly blow your mind. Coruscant is one of the most important planets in Star Wars movies and TV shows. In fact, after appearing in the original trilogy, Coruscant became that much more important in the prequels as the hub of most major events in those movies. Not only was Coruscant the location of the Jedi Temple, but it also housed the Senate—and, of course, Palpatine’s office along with it.

This meant that Coruscant was pivotal for some of the most significant events in the Star Wars timeline, but you’ve likely never seen Coruscant in this level of detail before. This absolutely astonishing video, posted by Grazzy on YouTube, showcases a mᴀssive recreation of Coruscant in Minecraft.

In addition to the sheer amount of work that must have gone into this Minecraft creation (which is staggering in and of itself), this video provides some new insight into this crucial Star Wars planet.

I’d Never Realized Just How Complex Coruscant Really Is

In The Movies And Shows, We Get Such A Limited View

One unexpected thing this Minecraft video provides is a newfound insight into the complexity and the details of Coruscant. As mentioned, Coruscant has had an absolutely mᴀssive influence on Star Wars for decades, but, when all is said and done, the ins and outs of the planet haven’t really been brought to the screen all that often. The prequels have probably done the most in that arena, but even then, much of the focus remained on the Jedi Temple and the Senate, not the planet as a whole.

The franchise has changed that somewhat in recent years. As one example, Star Wars: The Clone Wars showed the underworld of Coruscant, particularly when Ahsoka Tano was on the run when she was falsely accused of murder. However, even that was rather brief. A more detailed look at Coruscant has therefore been a long time coming in Star Wars, and, while this may not have been the expected source for that deeper dive, it was incredible to see nonetheless.

This Really Is The Ultimate Star Wars Minecraft

I’ve Truly Never Seen Anything Like This

Jedi Council Star Wars Path of the Jedi Minecraft

There have been official Star Wars Minecraft packages, but even with those, this stunning Minecraft creation is head and shoulders above anything I’ve seen. The sheer amount of time, concentration, knowledge, and dedication this must have taken is enormous. With more than 36 million blocks used on this build, I genuinely cannot imagine the work that went into it, and the fact that it seems to be so accurate to Star Wars canon is incredible.

It’s also a brilliant way to honor this Star Wars planet that has so much significance to the franchise. It remains to be seen how prominent Coruscant will continue to be in the future, especially now that the Mandalorian Era seems to be shifting its focus. Nevertheless, this Minecraft recreation of Star Wars’ Coruscant is absolutely breathtaking and deserves mᴀssive kudos.
