The Beatles Actors Revealed In New PH๏τo As All 4 Sam Mendes Movies Are Confirmed For The Same Month

Sony Pictures has announced the four stars of its new The Beatles movies with a new cast pH๏τo, while confirming that all four of Sam Mendes’s films will release in the same month in 2028. The studio conducted the opening night presentation of this year’s CinemaCon, attended by ScreenRant, where it revealed new details about its upcoming film slate. That included an appearance from Mendes himself to end the presentation, during which he discussed his four-part Beatles project.

After months of reports and speculation, Sony Pictures has confirmed the stars of its new films by releasing a pH๏τo of the actors who will portray the Fab Four standing in a line. From left to right, it shows Harris Dickinson (John Lennon), Paul Mescal (Paul McCartney), Barry Keoghan (Ringo Starr), and Joseph Quinn (George Harrison). Check out the image below:

An official pH๏τo of the four actors playing The Beatles in Sam Mendes upcoming movies

тιтled The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, Mendes announced at CinemaCon that all four movies will release in April 2028, in what he called the “first bingeable theatrical experience.” Each will be from the “distinct perspective” of one of the four bandmates, and the whole endeavor will take a full year to film. The official logline reads: “Each man has his own story, but together they are legendary.

What This Means For The Beatles Four-Film Experience

The Movies Will Likely Delve Deep Into The Four Enigmatic Icons

The Beatles‘ bingeable four-film experience sets it apart from a typical theatrical series, and the ambitious project could rank among Mendes’ best movies. For a project of this magnitude, getting the perfect cast in place would be one of the most important elements. The image reveals a picture of the four leads before they are on set to begin filming, and there is little doubt they will look very different once production is underway. But there is no doubting the talent on display, and each of the actors will have the chance to shine and bring his unique take on an icon.

Biopics tend to be immersive and interesting but often leave audiences wanting more, and those focused on bands often gloss over the experiences of certain members.

These interconnected but separate biopics are a great ways of being able to give the spotlight to each of the men equally and will go some way toward exploring their experiences as part of one of the world’s most iconic bands. Much of the focus of The Beatles-related media has often been on the tempestuous relationship between John and Paul, while these movies will give Ringo and George a chance to shine. There have been multiple Beatles movies released over the years, but none have given such an in-depth exploration into each individual member of the group.

Our Verdict On The Beatles Cinematic Experience

This Is A Project That Could Change How Biopics Are Made

The Beatles play together in Let It Be (1970)

Biopics tend to be immersive and interesting but often leave audiences wanting more, and those focused on bands often gloss over the experiences of certain members. The Beatles will give each of the men equal time and exploration, and it will be fascinating to see Ringo, arguably the most overlooked member of the group, portrayed by the biggest star of the four, with the biopic set to be a prominent part of Keoghan’s upcoming filmography. The Beatles movies could transform the way biopics are made moving forward, as well as further immortalize the Fab Four on film.
