Where To Watch Queer On Streaming

Daniel Craig gave a Golden Globe-nominated performance in Luca Guadagnino’s 2024 romantic drama, and Queer is now available to stream. A few months after delivering one of 2024’s best movies in Challengers, Guadagnino’s Queer hit theaters. The groundbreaking 1950s period drama stars Daniel Craig as William Lee, a man who falls for Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), who is a former member of the Navy. The movie chronicles their romantic relationship, and the movie was praised for how well it handled both its love story and the historical context of Gene and Lee’s LGBTQ+ idenтιтies.

Although Queer was developed and filmed independently, the movie’s potential for awards consideration made it a coveted package after its festival debut at the Venice International Film Festival. This led to A24 acquiring Queer and pushing forward with its 2024 release in theaters. While Daniel Craig’s performance didn’t land him the Best Actor nomination at the Academy Awards as predicted, Queer gained recognition elsewhere. Since it’s a grounded and down-to-earth story, many have been eagerly waiting to view Queer in the comfort of their own home, and it is thankfully now available to stream.

Queer Is Available To Stream On Max

The Daniel Craig Movie Hit HBO’s Streaming Platform In March 2025

Thanks to an existing deal between A24 and Warner Bros, Queer is available to stream on Max as of 03/28. The 2024 movie arrived on the streaming service in early 2025, around 6 months after its theatrical release in November 2024. Since Queer only had a limited theatrical run at first there were many fans of both Daniel Craig and Luca Guadagnino who didn’t manage to catch the film when it was showing on the big screen, meaning questions around when Queer is available to stream were commonplace.

Streaming Queer requires either a subscription go Max or the an Amazone Prime Video bolt-on package for Max тιтles, both of which cost $9.99 per month.
