The drama movie Straw and musical biblical retelling R&B are both set to be released by Netflix sometime this year, as is Perry’s political comedy series She the People.

Given the frequency of Perry’s releases, his 2025 release schedule is to be expected from the creator. Especially considering Tyler Perry’s deal with Netflix and frequent releases on Prime Video as well, it seems safe to say that audiences can continue to expect new work from the writer-director-producer every couple of months across various platforms. Thus, while Beauty in Black may be over for now, there will be no shortage of other Tyler Perry projects to check out in the meantime.
