Thanks Final Destination: Bloodlines, Now I’ve Got Another Real-Life Fear

Final Destination Bloodlines is almost here, and the movie has already given me another real-life fear ahead of its actual release. The Final Destination movies are known for their ridiculous kills, with the vast majority of them having zero chance of happening in real life. However, a piece of marketing material for Final Destination: Bloodlines has come up with one of the franchise’s scariest and most realistic kills.

A trailer for Final Destination Bloodlines has been released, giving an all-new look at the upcoming sixth film in the Final Destination franchise. The trailer gives a sneak peek at some of the gory kills that will come in the new film, with many franchise fans excited to see new Rube Goldberg machine kills for the first time since 2011’s Final Destination 5. However, the trailer also teases one kill that is far simpler, with it sending some viewers into a panic.

Glᴀss Shards In Crushed Ice Is One Of Final Destination: Bloodlines’ Twisted Death Accidents

& It Is One Of The Franchise’s Scariest

The teaser for the Final Destination Bloodlines trailer and the trailer itself show off one of the movie’s new kills, and it involves shards of glᴀss and ice. In the trailer, some glᴀss is broken at a bar near the ice. The bartender sweeps the glᴀss away, but a shard falls into the ice. Presumably, this glᴀss gets served to a patron, with it killing them as it enters their mouth.

This death may seem smaller-scale than some of the other deaths that have been teased for Final Destination Bloodlines, such as the chain catching the nose ring. However, it is already one of the movie’s most talked-about kills. Despite Final Destination: Bloodlines not being released yet, viewers are already discussing the terrifying possibility of this new kill.

Glᴀss In Ice Is One Of Final Destination’s More Believable Death Accidents

Just Like The Log Truck Accident

The reason for the discussion surrounding Final Destination Bloodline‘s glᴀss kill is that it is one of Final Destination‘s more believable death accidents. Most of the franchise’s other kills involve an incredibly convoluted series of unlikely events, leading to the deaths being more comedic than anything. However, there is nothing unlikely about a shard of glᴀss falling into an ice machine, making this kill so much scarier.

Final Destination Bloodline‘s ice kill is reminiscent of the famous log truck kill from Final Destination 2 for this reason. Like that kill, the glᴀss death is something that could realistically happen to anyone. Because of this, the glᴀss kill in Final Destination Bloodlines could traumatize a new generation of viewers, carrying on the legacy of the log truck kill.
