Where To Watch A Working Man: Showtimes & Streaming Status

Jason Statham has a new action movie in A Working Man, and whether you want to watch it in theaters or on streaming, here’s what you need to know. The 2025 action movie is directed by David Ayer, marking a reunion between him and Statham after making The Beekeeper in 2024. A Working Man is a potential franchise starter as its based on a Chuck Dixon book series with 11 installments. Statham stars as Levon Cade, a construction worker and former military member who jumps back into action to save a kidnapped girl.

A Working Man‘s cast includes some additional star power around Statham, with Michael Peña and David Harbour among the more high-profile cast members. The movie comes from Amazon MGM, who picked up the film after The Beekeeper‘s box office success. They guaranteed A Working Man a theatrical release instead of putting it straight to Prime Video, as was done with Road House. There will be opportunities to see the action film at home at a later date, thanks to various streaming options. Here’s everything known about where to watch A Working Man and when.

A Working Man Releases In Theaters On March 28, 2025

Jason Statham’s Movie Begins Exclusively In Theaters

Amazon MGM Studios gave A Working Man an exclusive theatrical release that starts on March 28, 2025. A Working Man‘s showtimes technically begin the night prior thanks to Thursday preview showings that are customary with most releases. It has a nearly two-hour runtime and is R-rated for strong violence, language throughout, and drug content. Adult viewers going to a theater to see A Working Man also have the opportunity to see the film in 4DX for a unique cinematic experience that can’t be replicated at home.

When Will A Working Man Release On Streaming?

A Working Man Will Stream On Prime Video

As an Amazon MGM production, A Working Man will eventually stream on Prime Video. Amazon has not confirmed when this will be, and the studio’s track record with theatrical-to-streaming releases is inconsistent. Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper took six months to go to Prime Video, but Dwayne Johnson’s Red One went to streaming in less than a month to capitalize on Christmas. Amazon also tends to put most of its movies on MGM+ a few months before they go to Prime Video.

The studio’s average gap between theatrical and streaming release dates on Prime Video is 110 days. That data projects A Working Man‘s streaming release in mid-July 2025. If it’s a box office hit like The Beekeeper and the same strategy is used here, it won’t be until August 2025. So, if you’re okay with waiting a few months to watch Jason Statham’s new action movie, the streaming debut can work.

When Will A Working Man Release On Digital?

This Will Be The Earliest At-Home Viewing Option

The soonest anyone will be able to watch A Working Man at home is when it comes to digital. Again, Amazon is inconsistent in handling these rollouts. The Beekeeper went to digital after only 18 days in theaters, while Red One didn’t hit digital until three months after it went to streaming. A Working Man could release on digital in May 2025 based on the studio’s average release gap of about 45 days. But if The Beekeeper‘s schedule is reused, then it’ll be available to buy or rent on PVOD in April 2025.
