In the most intense and brutal ᴀssault on Israeli cities in weeks, Iran has unleashed a mᴀssive barrage of cluster warhead missiles and drones, raining destruction across Tel Aviv, Beersheba, and large parts of northern Israel.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched the coordinated attack late last night, firing dozens of ballistic missiles fitted with cluster munitions that spread hundreds of bomblets over wide areas. Explosions rocked residential neighborhoods in Tel Aviv’s suburbs, critical infrastructure in Beersheba, and military positions across the Galilee and northern districts. Fires are burning out of control in multiple locations as rescue teams scramble to respond.

Israeli air defenses, already strained after weeks of sustained pressure, were visibly overwhelmed. The Iron Dome and Arrow systems intercepted some missiles, but the sheer volume and use of cluster warheads allowed many bomblets to reach their targets. Major damage has been reported at several IDF bases, including renewed strikes on Nevatim Airbase.
Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s regime described the operation as “a crushing response to Zionist crimes and the Martyrs of the Ramadan War.” Iranian officials warned that “more painful strikes are coming” if the U.S. and Israel do not end Operation Epic Fury.
This latest barrage exposes the growing vulnerability of Israel’s defenses. With U.S. radar systems across the region heavily degraded and American interceptor stockpiles critically low after burning through more than $11 billion in munitions in the first week alone, both Israel and the U.S. are struggling to contain Iran’s sustained offensive.

The situation is particularly dire as the USS Gerald R. Ford continues battling recurring fires in the Red Sea, and the USS Abraham Lincoln faces repeated Iranian threats. Meanwhile, Hezbollah has intensified rocket fire from Lebanon, forcing Israel to call up thousands of reservists.
What began as a confident U.S.-Israeli campaign promising swift victory has now turned into a nightmare of attrition. Iran is not only surviving — it is hitting harder, deeper, and more effectively with each pᴀssing week.
As cluster bomblets continue exploding across Israeli cities and sirens wail through the night, one harsh reality is becoming undeniable: Operation Epic Fury has failed to break Iran. Instead, it has unleashed a determined and increasingly aggressive adversary that is bringing the war directly to Israel’s heartland.
The question now is no longer whether Iran can strike back — but how much more destruction Israel can endure.
