In the most ferocious ᴀssault on Israeli territory in weeks, Iran has unleashed a mᴀssive combined missile and cluster munitions barrage that has left large parts of Israel burning and scarred with craters from north to south.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched the punishing attack late Wednesday, firing over 180 ballistic missiles and waves of drones carrying cluster warheads. Israeli air defenses intercepted many projectiles, but dozens got through, slamming into residential areas, military installations, and critical infrastructure.

Dramatic footage shows raging fires across Tel Aviv suburbs, Haifa port, and parts of Jerusalem. Multiple craters have torn through roads and neighborhoods, with secondary explosions reported at several IDF bases. Nevatim and Ramat David airbases — already heavily damaged in previous strikes — were hit again, while explosions rocked areas near the Shin Bet headquarters in Tel Aviv. Emergency services are struggling to contain widespread fires as sirens continue to wail for hours.
Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s regime hailed the operation as “a sacred response to the Martyrs of the Ramadan War,” vowing that such attacks will continue until Israel and the United States end their aggression under Operation Epic Fury.
The scale and sophistication of this barrage have exposed dangerous gaps in Israel’s defenses. With U.S. radar systems across the region still degraded and American interceptor stockpiles critically low after burning through more than $11 billion in the first week alone, both Israel and the U.S. are struggling to keep up with Iran’s sustained pressure.

Meanwhile, the USS Gerald R. Ford remains crippled by recurring fires in the Arabian Sea, and the USS Abraham Lincoln faces growing threats. Iranian forces continue attacking commercial shipping near the Strait of Hormuz, while Hezbollah coordinates rocket fire from Lebanon and Almas-3 drone-missiles hunt Israeli armor on the ground.
What Washington and Jerusalem promised would be a swift, decisive campaign has turned into a brutal war of attrition. Israel is now literally burning under the weight of Iranian retaliation, while America’s military resources are being stretched to the breaking point.
As flames light up the Israeli night sky and rescue teams pull victims from the rubble, one harsh reality is becoming impossible to ignore: despite all the firepower and billions spent, Iran under Mojtaba Khamenei is still capable of delivering devastating blows that are shaking the very heart of Israel.
How much more destruction can Israel endure? And how long before the United States is forced to admit that Operation Epic Fury has failed to break Iran — and may instead be breaking its own allies?
