In a devastating blow to American air operations, a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker has been lost over Iraq, marking the first major combat loss of a critical refueling aircraft since Operation Epic Fury began.
According to Pentagon sources and regional intelligence, the aircraft was sH๏τ down by a coordinated Iranian proxy attack involving surface-to-air missiles and swarming drones while supporting long-range B-52 strikes and fighter operations against Iranian targets.
