Snow White Star Gal Gadot Tests Her Disney Mettle With Villain Trivia

Snow White brings the original Disney princess to live-action in a new adaptation of Disney’s 1937 animated film. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first full-length animated feature done by the company, and to this day remains one of its most beloved and iconic stories. Snow White stars West Side Story breakout star Rachel Zegler as the princess herself, opposite Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.

ScreenRant’s Ash Crossan engaged Gadot in a round of Disney villain trivia, honoring the ill intentions of villains across the company’s history. Watch the video above, and see if you can guess the villains before Gadot – though, be warned, the Wonder Woman actor exhibits super speed with some of her answers. You can watch Gadot’s take as the Evil Queen in Snow White, now in theaters.

Gal Gadot Respects Her Disney Compeтιтion, But Still Finds Evil Queen The Fairest Villain Of All

“She’s So Delicious, And It Was Just A Lot Of Fun”

Despite the Evil Queen being Gal Gadot’s first major villainous role, ScreenRant’s Snow White review praised the actor’s clear willingness to throw herself into the world of evil. The same is true for trivia, as Gadot was quick to guess some of the most iconic Disney villains of all time. It’s refreshing to watch a star of the live-action Snow White have a knowledge and appreciation of Disney projects past–especially as some of the hints Gadot was given were impressively vague.

When it came to picking favorite villains, the fifth most evil Disney villain fittingly chose herself, saying, “Look. I love the Evil Queen. I got to portray her, and I had so much fun playing this character. She’s so delicious, and it was just a lot of fun.” She continued with a crowd pleaser, sharing, “I love saying the ‘Magic mirror on the wall…’ line,” and in an Evil Queen voice, no less. Gadot clearly enjoyed playing the character, which comes off clearly in the movie itself.

The only villain Gadot missed was Hades from Disney’s Hercules. The clues leaning into Hercules as a family drama didn’t work for her, even as one subtly mentioned the character’s famously H๏τ temper and unforgettable fire hair. With Gadot easily guessing villains from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmations, and Aladdin, though, it’s clear her Disney love is strong. Plus, if any of Gadot’s DC films had adapted this Wonder Woman and Hades storyline, maybe things would have gone differently.
