Twisters proved to be a big hit in theaters during the summer of 2024, but it remains one of the H๏τtest тιтles on streaming. 28 years after the original disaster movie starring Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt became a mᴀssive $495 million success, the franchise continues with a new installment. Twisters‘ cast is headlined by Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell, with Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea, David Corenswet, and others also appearing. The film follows two groups of storm chasers in Oklahoma as they band together under extreme duress.

Twisters earned solid reviews for capturing the fun and excitement of the original movie while also taking advantage of the talents of its ensemble of rising stars. The movie ended up earning over $370 million worldwide (via Box Office Mojo) and was a favorite of the summer season. Since its streaming debut on Peacock in the fall of 2024, Twisters has continued to find more fans and its popularity is likely to grow with its new streaming home.

After being an exclusive streaming option on Peacock since November 2024, Twisters is now available on Prime Video as of March 18, 2025. Twisters joins some of the big 2024 тιтles now available on Prime Video, including The Fall Guy, Challengers, and Smile 2.

For those not looking to subscribe to Prime Video in order to watch Twisters, the movie is also available for home viewing through some other options. The film’s physical release came in October 2024 with steelbook 4K and Blu-ray options available for $34.99. The two-disc release also includes a gag reel feature as well as deleted scenes.
