The Evil Queen Towers Over Us All In New Snow White ScreenX Poster

Snow White is coming to ScreenX, giving audiences a chance to see the movie in a theater specially designed for more immersion. ScreenX theaters offer viewers a 270-degree viewing experience by projecting additional material onto the walls of the theater. These projections expand the audience’s field of view with an expanded look at settings and actions, ideally making viewers feel like the movie’s events are happening all around them.

ScreenRant is happy to debut a look at the ScreenX poster for Snow White. In the poster, key Snow White cast member Gal Gadot towers above Rachel Zegler’s Snow White as the Evil Queen, in a subtle showcase of the power imbalance between the movie’s hero and villain. Take a look at the poster below–keeping an eye out for critters and other key movie characters–and get ready to watch Snow White in theaters starting March 21.

Why The Creatives Behind Snow White Make The Live-Action Remake So Promising

Disney’s live-action Snow White remake has the components of a critical and commercial success. Despite the Rachel Zegler casting backlash, the actor is a fantastic choice for the character in terms of her ability to deliver a grounded performance while still hitting the movie’s highs and lows–both in terms of story beats and the songs themselves. Zegler more than proved herself when she took on the role of Maria in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story adaptation and wowed critics with her ability to deliver that show’s iconic songs.

As for those songs, Snow White is said to feature original pieces such as “Whistle While You Work” as well as new songs written for the film. Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman, and Only Murders in the Building songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul were tapped for that role, bringing a promising musical pedigree to the production. Pasek and Paul are no strangers to Disney projects, either, as they both helped come up with new material for Disney’s live-action Aladdin.

Snow White director Marc Webb has also proven his ability to handle musicals as well as big-budget blockbuster films. Webb not only directed The Amazing Spider-Man (the movie that gave the world Andrew Garfield’s take on the character), but he also produced over 60 episodes of the musical comedy series My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. On top of Webb’s brought experience, it’s encouraging that the director clearly wants to honor tradition while also offering audiences something new by bringing unused Snow White storylines back into the fold.

Snow White comes to theaters on March 21.
