The soundtrack to Prime Video’s Picture This features a wide array of sounds. 2025’s Picture This, not to be confused with the 2008 rom-com of the same name starring Ashley Tisdale, Kevin Pollak, and Robbie Amell, is a British romantic comedy directed by Prarthana Mohan (The Christmas Break, Christmas is Canceled) from a screenplay by author Nikita Lalwani (who wrote the novels Gifted and You People), remaking the 2024 Australian comedy Five Blind Dates, which was written by Nathan Ramos-Park (Transformers: Earthspark) and Shuang Hu (who also starred in the movie) and directed by Shawn Seet (Two Fists, One Hear).

The Picture This story follows pH๏τographer Pia (Simone Ashley) learning that she will meet her soulmate within the next five dates, only for her ex, Charlie (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) to show up during the preparations for her sister’s (Anoushka Chadha) wedding, where he is the best man and she is the maid of honor. Like many romantic comedies with wedding settings and robust ensemble casts, the movie features a great deal of music on the soundtrack, including more than a dozen needle drops and an original song in addition to the original score by Paul Saunderson (Your Christmas or Mine?).

The Soundtrack Features A Wide Variety Of Genres

“Pick It Up” by Natania: This lively song is heard before a single member of the Picture This cast is shown onscreen, as it plays during the opening credits, leading into and underscoring the introduction of Pia as she is seen hard at work during a pH๏τography gig with a soccer team.

“Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” by Joy Crookes: This song is used to transition from the scene at the bank and the scene where Pia prepares a microwave dinner at home. It continues to underscore the wordless scene as she brings her food to the rooftop, and although its groovy sensibility seems to impart a sense of cool on Pia’s life at first, the song quickly becomes a melancholic juxtaposition when she spots a couple across the way and begins to feel lonely. Naturally, after this feeling is evoked, the тιтle card appears onscreen and the movie begins in earnest.

“Undumpable” by Moonchild Sanelly: This song briefly plays during an intersтιтial moment where Pia and her friend Jay (Luke Fetherston) are walking to the art gallery, emphasizing the fact that Jay is pulling her toward experiencing the night life of the city.

“Disco Town” by Daniel Mark Farrant, James Alexander Knight and Jai Amore: This song is playing in the background while Pia tries to avoid being seen by Charlie at the first of the wedding festivities, but ultimately fails. The track is from a modern album тιтled Classic Disco that is meant to emulate the feel of 1970s disco tunes.

“Mundian To Bach Ke” by Panjabi MC: This song, which features vocals by Labh Janjua, begins playing immediately after Charlie and Pia’s first conversation in Picture This, underscoring a montage of dancing that follows what the characters are up to over the course of the next few hours. The 2002 bhangra track, which is also known as “Beware,” has been used in multiple Bollywood movies in the past, including Boom and Baaghi 2.

“Uncomfortable” by Josie Man: This song plays as Pia is en route to her second date, in Hampstead Heath. Its orchestration emphasizes the hopeful romantic tone that the first part of the scene strikes, but the lyrical content emphasizes her awkwardness while waiting for her blind date. The scene then continues using both emotional modes simultaneously as her date begins and she realizes that it is with somebody she already knows, Akshay (Nikesh Patel).

“I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz, performed by Phil Dunster as Milo Bonner: Ted Lᴀsso cast member Phil Dunster plays Milo Bonner, who plays this song on the acoustic guitar while Pia objects to being set up with him for her third date. The original song by Jason Mraz was a smash hit, but the fact that it was overplayed on the radio during its record-breaking 76 weeks on the Billboard H๏τ 100 is meant to immediately emphasize the way that the two characters are not a good fit.

“Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai, performed by Phil Dunster as Milo Bonner: At the end of Pia’s disastrous date, Milo Bonner plays a cover of this song, altering the lyrics slightly from “we all live underground” to “she thinks the Earth is round,” criticizing the fact that Pia has called him out for being a flat-earther.

“Dylan” by Frogi: This melancholy song plays after Pia and Charlie have had a fight in the car, emphasizing the characters’ emotional state as the movie prepares to enter its third act.

“Gori Kab Se Huyee Jawan” by Lata Mangeshkar: This upbeat track plays immediately after the previous one, transitioning moods as the scene cuts to dance rehearsal ahead of the wedding. This song was previously featured in the 1991 Bollywood movie Phool Bane Angaray.

“Golden Chapter” by Kiran + Nivi: This song, which is an original track written for the movie, first plays during the montage where Pia is developing pH๏τos after being cheered up by Jay. It later plays during the movie’s closing credits.

“Pariyon Ki Raani” by Haroon Hanif, Mr. Vinayak, Mr. Vignesh, Mr. Kishore, Mr. Balesh, & Bing Nathan: This party track plays in the background when Pia sees Jay at the reception and thanks him for all of his help.

“Better” by Saint Clair: ​​​​​​​This downtempo song plays while Pia dances with her father at the wedding reception.

“Kay Sera Sera” by Shankar Mahadevan & Kavita Krishnamurthy: This is the song that the wedding party dances to toward the end of the movie, as Charlie looks on in delight. The song was originally featured in the 2000 Bollywood action movie Pukar, which starred Anil Kapoor.

“Freed From Desire” by Gala: This dance track plays as the end credits begin to roll over a freestyle dance sequence.

At the time of writing, the full Picture This soundtrack is not available to stream or purchase on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, or other listening platforms, nor is the movie’s original score. However, the majority of the needle drop songs are available to stream via the individual artists on those platforms, with the exception of “Golden Chapter” and Dunster’s “I’m Yours” and “Virtual Insanity” covers. However, the original versions of both latter songs are available via their respective artists. There is currently no word as to whether the movie’s full soundtrack will ever be distributed as an official collection.
