It Feeds Trailer: Twilight Star Is Haunted By Her Possessed Client In New Horror Movie

The trailer has been revealed for It Feeds. The upcoming horror movie is directed by Chad Archibald and features Ashley Greene, Shawn Ashmore, Mark Taylor, Juno Rinaldi, Laurie Murdoch, Dave Dewar, and Ellie O’Brien. The film follows the story of a psychiatrist whose life and career are disrupted when she is unexpectedly visited by a young girl who believes a demonic enтιтy is feeding on her. Archibald also serves as a writer and producer on the film, which is co-produced by Cody Calahan, Morris Chapdelaine, Navid McIlhargey, Evan Ottoni, and William G. Santor.

Now, Fandango at Home has released the trailer for It Feeds. The trailer introduces the protagonist, Cynthia Winstone, who is a psychiatrist. She unexpectedly gets visited at her home by a young girl who says she “see[s] things” that are highly disturbing. Cynthia believes that something is attached to this girl, but things quickly take a turn for the worst as Cynthia’s daughter, Jordan, also finds an enтιтy attaching itself to her. This leads things to devolve into chaos as Greene’s character works to help her daughter while maintaining her own sanity. Check it out below:

What This Means For It Feeds

It Feeds Is A Good Return For Ashley Greene

Greene is best known for her work in the Twilight movies, portraying Alice Cullen, the adoptive sister of Robert Pattinson’s Edward. It has been 13 years since the vampire book adaptation series ended with Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, and the actor has been pretty under-the-radar, pursuing more indie projects like Some Other Woman and The Retirement Plan. The star has also continued starring in horror movies, like Aftermath, and it seems that It Feeds is another great opportunity to expand her filmography into the supernatural.

Based on the trailer, It Feeds will focus heavily on its possession plotline, this time making things a family affair. While the plot kicks off with a chance encounter with an outsider, this threat swiftly cascades onto the leading family when Jordan starts seeing things, too. In a line revealed after Jordan’s enтιтy attachment is revealed, someone says, “Cynthia, wake up!”, suggesting that perhaps even the protagonist cannot escape the enтιтy plaguing her clients.

Our Take On The It Feeds Trailer

It Feeds Features Oft-Used Story Elements

It Feeds possessed being with blonde hair looking up at the camera with blank eyes

The It Feeds trailer feels like a fairly standard enтιтy-based plot, similar to the popular The Exorcist movies. The trailer tries hard not to repeat the iconic “I see ᴅᴇᴀᴅ people from M. Night Shyamalan’s The Sixth Sense, having its first possessed client simply say “I see things.” While a lot of the plotting may seem done already, It Feeds has the potential to showcase a strong performance from Greene and a unique sense of family dynamics.
