If You Miss Bridgerton, Check Out Simone Ashley’s New Romantic Comedy With A Former Harry Potter Actor Now Streaming On Prime Video

It will be a while before Bridgerton returns to our screens, but in the meantime, fans can watch Simone Ashley in an Amazon Prime Video rom-com that is now available to stream. Ashley stars as Kate Bridgerton (née Sharma) in the cast of Bridgerton on Netflix. Kate was the main love interest for Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony Bridgerton in season 2, and as of the season 3 finale, the couple is happily married and expecting their first child.

The Bridgerton cast and crew began filming season 4 in September 2024 and production is expected to wrap in April 2025. While Netflix hasn’t confirmed a release date, many suspect Bridgerton season 4 will premiere sometime in 2026.

Unfortunately, Kate and Anthony are expected to have minimal screentime in Bridgerton season 4, which will follow Benedict’s love story. The couple’s role in season 3 was also reduced. So, Kate and Anthony’s limited involvement in the upcoming episodes isn’t surprising (but still disappointing). The good news is that both Ashley and Bailey are keeping themselves busy and growing their careers outside the world of Bridgerton. Bailey stars in the pop culture phenomenon Wicked and will appear in Jurᴀssic World Rebirth in the summer of 2025. Meanwhile, Ashley leads the cast of the new Prime Video rom-com, Picture This.

Simone Ashley’s Prime Video rom-com Picture This is now available, and it’s certainly worth the watch, especially for those who love the actress in Bridgerton. Ashley stars as Pia, the film’s romantic lead, who is struggling in her work and love life. One day, Pia learns from a spiritual guru that she will find the love of her life (and success in her pH๏τography career) within the next five dates she goes on.

Unfortunately, the process for Pia to find her true love is more chaotic than it’s like a fairytale. Pia’s family is desperately trying to play matchmaker, and it certainly doesn’t help when she reunites with her ex-boyfriend. However, fans must watch the Amazon Prime Video rom-com to see if Ashley’s character gets her happy ending.

Picture This Also Features A Former Harry Potter Actor

Hero Fiennes Tiffin Stars Opposite Simone Ashley

Aside from featuring a prominent Bridgerton actress, the cast of Picture This also includes an actor from the Harry Potter movies. Hero Fiennes Tiffin, who played a young Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, stars as Charlie, Pia’s ex-boyfriend, in the British rom-com. Fiennes Tiffin is the nephew of Ralph Fiennes, who famously portrayed Voldemort. Now, the two worlds of Bridgerton and Harry Potter combine with Simone Ashley and Fiennes Tiffin starring in Picture This on Prime Video.
