Due to the long wait time between book releases, rumors have been circulating regarding when the fourth book will be published. While some speculated the book would release as early as February 2025, others suggested Burn of the Everflame wouldn’t hit shelves until the summer of 2026 — and Google and Goodreads still have this listed as the novel’s release date (at the time of writing). It’s also been suggested on Reddit that the novel could release in the fall, given the that Fantasy Fangirls Podcast seems to have worked closely with Cole to schedule a deep dive of the Kindred’s Curse series, set to kick off this April.
