A new trailer for Bambi: The Reckoning has been released, revealing more about the upcoming horror movie based on the children’s book character. The story of Bambi: The Reckoning takes place in the Twisted Childhood Universe, the same world as Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare. Its story follows Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son, Benji (Tom Mulheron), get into a car wreck caused by a nightmarish version of Bambi. The movie was filmed in January 2024 and was originally scheduled to be released that same year, but has since been pushed back.

The trailer teases its premise as Bambi quickly starts racking up a kill count, biting off hunters’ heads and following a family into a house. The bloodthirsty deer seemingly causes an explosion in the woods and crushes a car under his weight, all while a large cast of characters tries to kill him to no avail.
