California-born Randolph played Blanca Snow in A Snow White Christmas, and Michelle is also unforgettable as Ainsley Norris in Landman.

House of the Witch, directed by Alex Merkin and written by Neil Elman, premiered on Syfy in October 2017. House of the Witch was filmed in Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky, with Darren Mann playing Shane and Michelle Randolph as Rachel. With their four friends, they become victims of a demonic witch in an abandoned house during a Halloween night gone awry. House of the Witch maximized a low budget and a great deal of talent in front of and behind the camera to deliver an eerie and effective horror romp.
I was the director’s ᴀssistant for House of the Witch. I worked with and got to know Darren Mann and Michelle Randolph, and saw what talented and dedicated actors they are. Darren has leading-man charisma and is a tremendous person (and dog lover) in real life. Michelle also has obvious star power and is a lovely person inside and out. House of the Witch was Michelle’s first acting role, and it was obvious she would break through, which happened in two of Taylor Sheridan’s hit series, 1923 and Landman.

My Lady Jane’s Emily Bader Also Starred In House Of The Witch
House of the Witch not only launched Darren Mann and Michelle Randolph but was also one of the first projects to star Emily Bader, who was the lead of Prime Video’s My Lady Jane. Bader had a handful of credits before being cast as Lana in House of the Witch. Since then, Emily appeared in five episodes of Charmed and starred in Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin before Bader played the eponymous lead role in the critically acclaimed My Lady Jane, which boasts a 95% Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Coy Stewart, who played Flint in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 5, also starred in House of the Witch. As did Arden Belle, who starred in Santa Clarita Diet and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. As a gritty historical-based Western, 1923 is a far cry from the 2017 horror movie that originally cast Michelle Randolph and Darren Mann. In hindsight, it’s remarkable how much talent came out of House of the Witch, with Darren Mann and Michelle Randolph now indelibly part of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone legacy in 1923.
