Though speculation abounded concerning the plot of the third PAW Patrol movie, it wasn’t until February 2025 that actual details began to surface. The full synopsis for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie was revealed, and it’s clear that the threequel is going to live up to its name. The team crash lands on a strange island that is inhabited by dinosaurs. They meet a dog named Rex who lives on the island, and must team up with their new friend to fight their arch-nemesis, Humdinger.

the addition of dinosaurs brings in another common kiddo interest.

Humdinger begins to exploit the island’s precious minerals, but his reckless actions cause mᴀssive harm to the island’s ecosystem, which puts the dinosaurs at risk. After the events of The Mighty Movie, it’s unclear exactly how PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie hopes to top itself, but bringing dinosaurs into the mix is a clever choice. Not only has the action/adventure franchise remained popular with kids for over a decade, but the addition of dinosaurs brings in another common kiddo interest.
