March 2025 is bringing a wide variety of movies to theaters, such as Bon Joon-ho’s latest project, an animated comedy horror movie, a new Looney Tunes adventure, Disney’s most recent live-action adaptation, and more. 2025 started on the right foot when it comes to theatrically released movies. 2024 was a big and successful year for the film industry, and this year seeks to continue the streak with some highly-anticipated movies – from original stories to sequels, adaptations, and even a couple of remakes and new versions of known stories.

February 2025 saw the release of Ke Huy Quan’s action comedy Love Hurts, the successful slasher Heart Eyes, the thriller Bring Them Down, the latest chapter in Marvel Cinematic Universe with Captain America: Brave New World, Paddington’s latest adventure in Paddington in Peru, the documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin, and Osgood Perkins’ horror comedy The Monkey, based on a story by Stephen King. Now, coming out in March is a sci-fi black comedy starring Robert Pattinson, an action movie starring Jack Quaid, a new version of Disney’s Snow White, and more.

Mickey 17

Mickey 17 Will Be Released On March 7, 2025

Mickey 17 is a sci-fi black comedy movie directed by Bong Joon-hi and based on the 2022 novel Mickey7, by Edward Ashton. Mickey 17 follows Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson), who, wanting to get off Earth, signs up to be an “expendable” on the human colony Nilfheim. Being an “expendable”, however, means that Mickey is now a disposable clone worker, so he’s sent on several high-risk ᴀssignments that his superiors know he won’t survive – but that’s ok, as a new body is generated every time he dies.

However, during an ᴀssignment, the Mickey 17 clone is ᴀssumed ᴅᴇᴀᴅ and immediately replaced, but he’s still alive. Mickey 17 meets his replacement, Mickey 18, and knows that, if they are caught, they will be destroyed as only one iteration of an expendable may exist at one time. Also starring in Mickey 17 are Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Mark Ruffalo, and Toni Collette.

Night of the Zoopocalypse

Night of the Zoopocalypse is an animated comedy horror movie directed by Ricardo Curtis and Rodrigo Perez-Castro. When a meteor carrying a mysterious space virus crashes on Colepepper Zoo, the animals living there turn into gummi-like zombie mutants. The only hope is Gracie (voiced by Gabbi Kosmidis), a young wolf who teams up with gruff mountain lion Dan (David Harbour) to find a cure and stop the leader of the zombies, Bunny Zero, from taking over the world. Night of the Zoopocalypse is inspired by a concept by Clive Barker.

F*** Marry Kill

F*** Marry Kill Will Be Released On March 7, 2025

F*** Marry Kill is a comedy thriller directed by Laura Murphy. F*** Marry Kill follows Eva Vaugh (Lucy Hale), a true-crime fan who is thrown into the world of dating apps by her friends on her 30th birthday. After meeting three different men on a dating app, Eva finds herself in the middle of a real-life murder case, and one of her three prospects could be the infamous “Swipe Right Killer” who has been terrorizing the city. Also starring in F*** Marry Kill are Virginia Gardner, Brooke Nevin, JayR Tinaco, Jedidiah Goodrace, Samer Salen, and Brendan Morgan.

F*** Marry Kill was originally scheduled for a simultaneous release in select theaters and on video on demand on December 6, 2024, but it was delayed a couple of weeks before the date. However, some digital stores and PVOD platforms weren’t informed, and the movie was available for a couple of hours.

Black Bag

Black Bag Will Be Released On March 14, 2025

Black Bag is a spy thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by David Koepp. Black Bag follows agent Kathryn Woodhouse (Cate Blanchett), who is suspected of betraying the nation. This puts her husband and legendary agent George Woodhouse (Michael Fᴀssbender) into trouble, as he faces the ultimate test: be loyal to his wife or his country. Also starring in Black Bag are Naomie Harris, Regé-Jean Page, Pierce Brosnan, and Marisa Abela.

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie follows Daffy Duck and Porky Pig (both voiced by Eric Bauza), who discover a secret alien plot to dominate Earth through mind-control. Daffy Duck and Porky must join forces to stop the aliens, while also doing their best to not drive each other insane.

Novocaine

Novocaine Will Be Released On March 14, 2025

Novocaine is an action comedy movie directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen. It’s the story of Nathan Caine (Jack Quaid), an introverted young man working at a bank who has congenital insensitivity to pain, a rare disorder in which the person can’t feel pain. When his girlfriend, Shari (Amber Midthunder), is taken hostage after a robbery at the bank they both work at, Nathan sets out to find and rescue her, using his condition as his strength. Also starring in Novocaine are Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh.

Snow White

Disney’s trend of bringing its animated classics to live-action continues with Snow White, directed by Marc Webb. This new version of Disney’s first animated feature follows the same premise, with a couple of changes and adjustments to the story and characters. That said, Snow White follows the тιтle character (Rachel Zegler), who flees into the woods after her stepmother, the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot), tries to kill her. Snow White meets the seven dwarves, who become her new family, while the Evil Queen keeps looking for her to get rid of her once and for all.

The Alto Knights

The Alto Knights Will Be Released On March 21, 2025

The Alto Knights is a biographical crime drama directed by Barry Levinson and written by Nicholas Pileggi. The Alto Knights stars Robert De Nito in a dual role: Vito Genovese, the leader of the Genovese crime family, and Frank Costello, crime boss of the Luciano crime family. The Alto Knights, then, takes the audience to the 1950s, when Genovese orders a hit on Costello. Though he survives, Costello is wounded, prompting him to decide to retire from the Mafia, which isn’t as easy to do.

A Working Man

A Working Man Will Be Released On March 28, 2025

A Working Man is an action thriller directed by David Ayer, co-written by him and Sylvester Stallone, and based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s Trade. A Working Man follows Levon Cade (Jason Statham), an ex-Royal Marines commando now living as a construction worker. When Levon’s boss’ teenage daughter, Jenny (Arianna Rivas), is taken by human traffickers, Levon goes back to his old set of skills to find her, while he also uncovers a web of corruption that extends into the government.
