Where To Watch The Unbreakable Boy: Showtimes & Streaming Status

A new movie called The Unbreakable Boy is coming to theaters at the end of February 2025, and this is where and when audiences can see the movie. Directed by Jon Gunn, The Unbreakable Boy tells the true story of Scott LeRette, a man whose son, Austin, was born with autism and brittle bone disease. Despite these diagnoses, Scott tries his best to keep Austin happy. Yet, at times, it is Austin who is bringing joy and inspiration into his parents’ lives instead of the other way around. The biographical movie stars Zachary Levi, Meghann Fahy, and Jacob Laval.

The Unbreakable Boy is being released by Lionsgate in 2025, five years after the movie was officially announced. The film was initially reported in 2020 and went into filming soon after, eventually wrapping in December 2020. Although it was set to premiere in March 2022, the movie was eventually pulled from the schedule without a clear reason and did not get a new release date until recently. Notably, the film is based on a memoir called The Unbreakable Boy: A Father’s Fear, a Son’s Courage, and a Story of Unconditional Love by the real-life Scott LeRette.
