Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy Cast – Every New & Returning Character

Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy reunites the audience with Bridget Jones almost ten years after Bridget Jones’s Baby, and she brings some old friends along with new ones. Another franchise benefiting from the trend of long-awaited sequels is Bridget Jones. Based on the book series of the same name by Helen Fielding, the Bridget Jones movie series started in 2001, and it’s back with its fourth movie. Based on the novel of the same name, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy is directed by Michael Morris, and it catches up with Bridget after a tragedy.

Unfortunately, Bridget’s main love interest and husband, Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), has pᴀssed away, leaving her with two young children. As Bridget copes with grief, her friends, family, and a surprising new ally encourage her to get her life back on track, which includes throwing herself into the dating pool once again. As this is a Bridget Jones movie, Bridget ends up with two love interests, though one very different from her previous ones. Bridget is accompanied by old friends in Mad About the Boy and also introduces some new and interesting characters.
