Captain America: Brave New World is the third MCU movie to release in February, following 2023’s Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania, and 2018’s Black Panther, which also debuted in Black History Month on February 16. With little theatrical compeтιтion, there is a great deal of room for Captain America 4 to rule the box office for several weeks.

When Will Captain America: Brave New World Release On Streaming?

The Film Will Release On Disney+ Later This Year

While no official plans for the streaming release for Brave New World have been made available, the feature will almost certainly come to Disney+ alongside the rest of Disney’s MCU releases. Though no date for this has been yet made available, there are several precedents that might suggest when the film will be available on streaming. Disney has worked hard to adapt its model to a changing medium, so this is subject to change, but a release on streaming in about 3 months seems likely.

Most recent MCU films, including The Marvels, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania came to Disney+ 89 days after releasing in theaters. Following this example, Captain America: Brave New World could debut on the service as soon as May 14. However, the most recent release, ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine, took longer, with 97 days, with the theatrical window extending due to the film’s box office success. If Captain America 4 is a big hit, it may reach Disney+ later than May 14.

When Will Captain America: Brave New World Release On Digital?

Brave New World Will Likely Debut On Digital Some Time Before Its Disney+ Release

Official details concerning the digital release of Captain America: Brave New World are not yet available, but previous MCU releases help to give an idea of when the film could be made available at home on services including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu. Like most recent films, Captain America 4 may debut on the service at a premium price point much sooner than the film’s streaming release. Looking at recent releases helps to indicate when this might occur.

Quantumania took 60 days to come to digital HD, while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 took 63 days. Even ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine falls into the same rough timescale, taking 67 days to be available on digital retailers. Following these examples, it is possible that Brave New World will be made available on digital between April 15, 2025 and April 22, 2025. While this is something that could certainly be subject to change, it is likely that Captain America: Brave New World will be made available on digital retailers sometime in April.
