Actor Patrick Luwis has addressed whether Rebel Moon 3 will be made. Zack Snyder directed the first two installments, which follow Kora, a former soldier who travels across the galaxy in search of soldiers, willing to rebel against the Imperium after it threatens the small village where she has found peace. In the action-packed sequel, Kora and her group of rebels take a stand against the Imperium. In addition to Luwis, the cast of the Rebel Moon movies includes Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Michiel Huisman, Ed Skrein, and Anthony Hopkins.
During an interview with Screen Rant ahead of the release of Cobra Kai season 6, part 3, in which Luwis will also appear, the actor revealed that he doesn’t know whether Rebel Moon 3 will happen. The actor claimed that he would love to star in the third movie and expressed how much he enjoyed working on the first two movies. However, he had not heard any updates about Rebel Moon 3. I have not heard any updates, but again, something I would be [honored to do]. It was such an incredible experience working with Zack, and that whole cast and crew was one of the best experiences I’ve had on set. So, I would be thrilled if they brought me back for the next movie, or whatever they’re doing. But no, I haven’t heard anything, just waiting by the phone, we’ll see. I’ve gotta really apply this [action] now, like, put me in coach!

After the action-packed ending of Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, the third movie could see the characters embark on a new adventure and introduce new characters. After the sequel’s cliffhanger ending, Snyder claimed that the third film would feature Kora and her group searching for Princess Issa.
The director revealed he is working on a script for the third film and wants to continue the Rebel Moon franchise.
Even though Luwis has no new updates for the third film in the series, Snyder has confirmed that Rebel Moon 3 will be made. Even though he plays a relatively minor character in the first two films, it would be great to see Luwis return for the third installment and potentially have an even more important role. Even though there have not been many new updates on Rebel Moon 3 following the negative reception of the first two films, it would be great to see Snyder continue his epic science fiction saga.
