Tom Holland’s Peter Parker Teams Up With Andrew Garfield & Tobey Maguire Against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom & Knull In Thrilling Spider-Man 4 Concept Trailer

A new Spider-Man 4 concept trailer pitches how Tobey Maguire, Tom Holland, and Andrew Garfield could reunite as the Marvel trio faces off with Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom and Knull. After seeing them part of the Spider-Man: No Way Home cast, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been wanting to see the three Spider-Man actors be brought together again in another big-screen adventure. As Spider-Man 4 is in development, many are waiting to learn what Holland’s upcoming sequel will focus on, especially after the conclusion of his 2021 film.

With Spider-Man 4 set to start filming later this year, Screen Culture recently shared a new concept trailer for the Phase 6 installment, dubbing the fourth film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Not only does the Spider-Man: Brand New Day concept trailer explore the Spidey trio back together, it also depicts them having to deal with not one but two dangerous Marvel foes. Check it out below:

In the Spider-Man: Brand New Day concept trailer, Holland’s Peter is not only seen with the Symbiote suit, but he is forced to deal with Downey Jr. as Victor von Doom, a.k.a. Doctor Doom. In addition to him teaming up with Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Men again to save their universes, Knull from Venom: The Last Dance is also featured as one of their multiverse threats.

What The Spider-Man 4 Concept Trailer Means For Tom Holland’s Sequel

Even though many have been wanting to see Spider-Man 4 take a more streel-level approach, the concept trailer also highlights how there are also portions of the audience that want to see Downey Jr. and Holland united on screen, as well as with the other Spider-Men. Given that Doctor Doom will be a threat to the whole multiverse, it makes sense why Garfield and Maguire’s versions of Spider-Man are involved, as their worlds will most likely be in danger, too. Having Knull go after multiple Spider-Man variants would also be a fun way to show just how much trouble the multiverse is in beyond Doctor Doom’s endgame.

Holland’s Spider-Man 4 will have a “significant event,” which could be seeing what the MCU looks like after Avengers: Doomsday through Peter’s POV.

It’s key to remember that since the Spider-Man 4 release date is only two months after Avengers: Doomsday, The Multiverse could purposely be using Peter’s story as an in-between-installment that also sets up the final stage for Avengers: Secret Wars. Holland’s Spider-Man 4 will have a “significant event,” which could be seeing what the MCU looks like after Avengers: Doomsday through Peter’s POV. But for the time being, it remains to be seen if Spider-Man 4 will go that far, whether it includes multiple Spider-Men, Doctor Doom, or even Knull, for that matter.

Our Take On The Spider-Man 4 Concept Trailer

Spider-Men teaming up in Spider-Man No Way Home

While time will tell if Spider-Man 4 will directly draw connections between Avengers: Doomsday the way that the concept trailer proposes, it will be a huge moment in itself to see whenever Holland and Downey Jr. are inevitably on the screen again. With reports that Holland is supposedly going to be part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast, it wouldn’t be shocking if there is meant to be a bridge between that film and Spider-Man 4. Hopefully, more news about Spider-Man 4 will start to emerge in the coming months as principal pH๏τography gets ready to start.
