Amy Schumer‘s new comedy movie debuts with one of Netflix’s lowest Rotten Tomatoes scores. From there, she created and starred in her own Comedy Central sketch series Inside Amy Schumer from 2013 to 2016, a show that earned her five Emmy nominations, including a win for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series in 2015.
After that, Schumer made her film debut by writing and starring in the 2015 romantic comedy Trainwreck, which was a critical and commercial success that earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. Kinda Pregnant has debuted with one of Netflix’s lowest Rotten Tomatoes scores. Co-written by and starring Schumer, Netflix’s new comedy film follows a middle-aged woman whose plans to settle down and start a family fall apart, so she begins faking a pregnancy, but ends up falling for her dream guy in the process. Alongside Schumer, Kinda Pregnant‘s cast also includes Will Forte, Jillian Bell, Brianne Howey, Lizze Broadway, Urzila Carlson, Chris Geere, Damon Wayans Jr., Alex Moffat, and Joel David Moore.
Now, following its release on February 5, Kinda Pregnant has debuted with a dismal 15% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie only has 13 reviews from critics at the time of writing, so the score could fluctuate as more are published. Its audience score is also looking grim at 27% with over 100 ratings from users.
