Kinda Pregnant‘s hilarious premise is pulled off by an equally hilarious cast of comedy geniuses. The Netflix film, which hits the streaming service on February 5, 2025, sees Amy Schumer in another romantic comedy role, this time as a woman who wears a fake pregnant baby to pretend to be with child. Schumer is joined by fellow stand-up comedians, Saturday Night Live alums, and sitcom stars, all of whom contribute to the chaos that is Netflix’s 2025 rom-com.

Kinda Pregnant follows Lainy, who has dreamed of being a mother since she was a little girl. Unfortunately, in her 40s, Lainy is nowhere near achieving her dream. When her best friend gets pregnant, Lainy tries on a false pregnancy belly, and this turns out to be quite the slippery slope. After making friends and meeting a prospective romantic partner, the romantic comedy movie sees Lainy commit further and further to the bit. Of course, in classic rom-com fashion, Lainy’s deception can’t last forever. It’s a ridiculous and fun premise that requires a ridiculous and fun cast.
