Knives Out 3 Image Reveals Josh O’Connor’s Priest & Shows Off Daniel Craig’s New Benoit Blanc Look For Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man

Netflix has unveiled a new image for Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man: A Knives Out Mystery. The third installment in the murder mystery franchise sees private detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) taking on his most dangerous case yet. Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man‘s cast is as star-studded as its predecessors, as in addition to Craig, the latest movie features Josh O’Connor, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church

Now, Netflix has debuted an image that showcases Blanc’s new look, along with O’Connor’s priest character, as they stand in a church. Blanc’s hair is noticeably longer than it was in Knives Out or in Glᴀss Onion, and he is no longer clean-shaven. O’Connor’s character, whose name has not yet been revealed, is seen leaning against one of the church pews. Both characters are gazing at someone or something toward the front of the church. What This Means For Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man

A Priest And A Church Are Vital To Benoit Blanc’s Next Case

Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc Holds Up a Finger in Glᴀss Onion A Knives Out Mystery

Between the church setting and O’Connor’s priest character, Blanc’s next case is seemingly connected to Christianity and its larger religious insтιтution. Instead of relatives vying for a family fortune or guests being invited to a billionaire’s private island, a priest will be one of the movie’s main characters. The connection to Christianity and to a priest fits the bill of Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man being Blanc’s most dangerous case yet, with the murder victim potentially being a powerful individual within the hierarchy of the world’s largest religion.

The Rian Johnson-directed movie continues the trend of not only giving Blanc a new case, but also surrounding him with a new cast of characters. It will be intriguing to see how the other new cast members fit into a mystery where a priest is poised to be at the center of it all, along with whether the priest is considered a suspect. The new case and cast are not the only things getting a makeover in Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man, with this installment providing the most distinct change yet in Blanc’s appearance.

Our Take On The Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man Image

It Increases The Anticipation For The Third Knives Out Movie

It is exciting to receive a glimpse of who O’Connor is playing, along with a closer look at Blanc’s new style. Despite the minimal information currently known about the characters or plot, the success of the previous Knives Out films makes Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man one of the most anticipated movies of 2025. Johnson’s movies have proven to be entertaining murder mysteries with compelling social commentary, and that will no doubt continue when Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man debuts on Netflix in the fall.
