The official release date for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has been revealed, as the most recent release continues its record-breaking box office run. While not much is known about the movie, its release the weekend before Easter means it will be released right near a holiday, just like its predecessor.

This implies the fourth movie will pull from Sonic CD, both characters’ debut games, with potential for other stories like Sonic Heroes to be added to the mix.
