Serving as a prequel in the Transformers franchise, the 2024 animated movie tells the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, who were best friends before later becoming enemies in Cybertron. In addition to Hemsworth, the Transformers One voice cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Brian Tyree Henry, and Keegan-Michael Key. While the movie grossed over $129 million worldwide, it is considered a box-office disappointment due to its comparatively high $75 million budget.

As per FlixPatrol, Transformers One has made it into the top 10 movies in the United States today (January 14) on Paramount+, taking the no. 8 spot. It beats Gladiator and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 but falls short of Top Gun: Maverick, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Dear Santa, Smile 2, The Painter, Jack Reacher, and Finestkind.
