The DC Universe’s Supergirl Gets A Brightly Colored Superhero Suit In The Same Design As David Corenswet’s Superman Costume In Stunning Art

New Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow art sees Milly Alcock’s DC Universe heroine suit up as the next live-action version of the Girl of Steel. With James Gunn’s DC Universe fully underway, DC Studios is getting ready to bring Superman and Supergirl back to the big screen with the Man of Steel’s solo film arriving this summer. As Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has finally started production, fans are eagerly waiting to see how Kara Zor-El’s movie will turn out.

While DC Studios has yet to reveal anything from Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’s principal pH๏τography, the audience is still sharing their ideas of how the DCU will adapt the Girl of Steel. Jobhutz recently shared new art of Alcock’s тιтular heroine, pitching how her costume could potentially look in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Check it out below:

Alcock’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow costume that Jobhutz designed in the art piece takes inspiration from David Corenswet’s Superman suit, showing her with the Kingdom Come version of the House of El symbol. While Alcock’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow film will have her headlining the movie, there have been rumors that Kara will make her DCU debut as early as Superman.

What Milly Alcock’s Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow Poster Art Means For The Movie

The latest fan art of Alcock for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow shows even more how the anticipation for her film is starting to build up, especially after the great reception for the first Superman trailer back in December 2024. As viewers start to invest in the DCU timeline, they are eager to learn more about the franchise that Gunn and DC Studios’ Peter Safran are creating across the big and small screens. Since Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow releases after Superman, if Corenswet’s film is a huge success this summer, it will definitely help the odds for his cousin’s 2026 installment.

It’s also evident that the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic, which the movie is adapting for the DCU, is getting on the general audience’s radar, especially after the DC Studios’ big announcement in January 2023. After Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s comic quickly got sold out with fans wanting to get a taste of what to expect from the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow movie, it’s great to see how various artists are paying homage to the series through different fan art pieces for Alcock. Time will tell, however, if the DCU film will make some significant changes from the comic.

The new Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow art of Alcock in her iconic costume looks incredible, and also makes the matter of what the actual Supergirl suit will look like even more exciting. Given how much is being kept under wraps about Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, time will tell how much fans will get to see from it this year. Hopefully, with Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow reportedly currently shooting, it won’t be too long until DC Studios unveils the first look at Alcock as the beloved Kryptonian heroine in the DCU.
