First introduced to DC Comics in 1983’s Omega Men #3, Lobo is an alien mercenary and bounty hunter from the planet, Czarnia. Following Lobo’s return in the 1990s in Simon Bisley’s new distinct style, he became an incredibly popular character, and even got his own comic series, so while initially intended to be a parody of Marvel Comics’ Wolverine, he became a significant character in his own right.
