Can you believe it? In just 94 minutes at Allianz Arena, the two giants Bayern Munich and Real Madrid scored 7 goals, received 2 red cards, 5 goals in the first half, and 2 decisive goals in the final seconds. The 2025/26 Champions League quarter-final second leg wasn’t just a football match, but a genuine Hollywood movie – dramatic, crazy, and leaving an unforgettable impression!
From the very first moment, Arda Güler “bombed” Real Madrid with the opening goal in the 1st minute. But Bayern didn’t falize: Pavlovic equalized in the 6th minute, Güler scored again in the 29th minute, Kane leveled in the 38th minute, and Mbappé put Real ahead 3-2 in the 42nd minute. Five goals in just the first 45 minutes – unprecedented in recent Champions League history!

The second half was a dramatic affair. Real Madrid played high-pressure football, but Eduardo Camavinga received a red card in the 86th minute, leaving the Royal team with only 10 men. Real Madrid seemed to have secured their place in the semi-finals with a lead on aggregate… until Luis Díaz exploded in the 89th minute, equalizing 3-3. And then, in the 90+4th minute, Michael Olise scored the decisive goal, securing a 4-3 victory for Bayern (6-4 on aggregate)!
Two red cards for Real (Camavinga and Güler in the 90+5th minute), two late goals from Diaz and Olise – all combined to an unbelievable scenario. The Allianz Arena shook, Bayern fans wept with joy, and Real Madrid were eliminated in the quarter-finals for the first time in such a painful way.
This wasn’t just a match. This was one of the best Champions League matches of the past decade – possibly even in the top 3 if you consider the last 10 years. The tempo, the goals, the drama, the comeback, the red cards, and the fateful last-minute moment… everything was perfect!
