IRGC ‘Destroys’ U.S. THAAD RADAR In UAE; Naval Ship ‘HIT’, Kuwait & Bahrain Bombed

In a mᴀssive escalation of Operation True Promise 4, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed a series of devastating precision strikes against the core of the United States’ integrated air defense network in the Gulf. According to official statements from Tehran, IRGC Aerospace Forces utilized advanced precision-guided missiles to successfully “obliterate” a U.S. THAAD (Terminal High Alтιтude Area Defense) radar system located in Al-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates. This specific radar, the AN/TPY-2, is a multi-million dollar ᴀsset critical for detecting and intercepting ballistic missiles. If confirmed, the loss of this node would represent a “systemic fracture” in the region’s protective umbrella, significantly increasing the vulnerability of U.S. and allied ᴀssets to future saturation attacks.

The chaos has rapidly spread across the maritime and land borders of the Gulf. In the Indian Ocean, the IRGC claims its drone and missile units successfully struck a U.S. naval refueling vessel roughly 700 km off the coast of Chabahar, rendering the ship “non-operational” and removing it from active service. Simultaneously, the regional capitals of Kuwait and Bahrain have been plunged into alarm; reports indicate that Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeted the Abdullah Mubarak area in Kuwait and the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters in Manama, Bahrain.

While Bahraini officials confirmed the interception of dozens of projectiles, falling debris has already resulted in at least one reported death at a local shipyard. As smoke rises over multiple Gulf installations, the IRGC has warned that “the gates of hell” remain open, signaling that this wave of strikes is a direct retaliation for the recent high-level losses sustained during the opening days of Operation Epic Fury.
