Margot Robbie shows off her toned legs in red co-ord as she films commercial in Malibu with Jacob Elordi vs

Margot Robbie showed off her toned legs as she filmed a commercial in Malibu with Jacob Elordi on Friday.

The Barbie star, 33, who was snubbed in the Best Actress category at the Oscars, looked stunning in a red Chanel suit paired with some comfy slippers as she strolled to set.

Margot wore her blonde locks sleek and straight as she filmed in a convertible.

Jacob, 26, whose film Saltburn was produced by Margot’s production company, wore a white shirt, black jacket and trousers.

Both Robbie, 33, and Barbie director Greta Gerwig, 40, were shockingly snubbed for individual Oscar nominations, despite the film receiving eight other nods – including Best Supporting Actor for the actor who played  Ken, Ryan Gosling, a Best Supporting Actress nod for America Ferrera, and the Best Picture nomination.

Many believed Robbie deserved a nomination for Best Actress and Greta for Best Director.

Robbie did not address her own Oscars snub but emphasized they were ‘beyond ecstatic’ the film had achieved eight Oscar nominations.

‘We set out to do something that would shift culture, affect culture, just make some sort of impact. And it’s already done that, and some, like way more than we ever dreamed it would. And that is truly the biggest reward that could come out of all of this.

‘I’m so, so obviously ecstatic. Everyone getting the nods that they have is incredible and the Best Picture nod.’

She added of the whole controversy, ‘There’s no way to feel sad when you know you’re this blessed.’

Gosling slammed the Academy for overlooking his female colleagues in a statement, but fell short of giving up his nomination in protest.

And according to a source close to the Hollywood A-lister, he has no plans to do so. Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, the insider said: ‘Ryan is sticking by his statement.

‘He understands people are upset because he is upset as well, but he is not going to be swayed by what anyone is saying online.’

They continued: ‘Ryan is honored that he has been nominated and the film has been nominated.

‘In the chance he does win or if he performs I’m Just Ken, he will honor Margot and Greta in one way or another.’

According to the source, Ryan is doing what is right for his heart, and he has the support of his cast and director.

Ryan issued a statement addressing Greta and Margot’s snubs shortly after the Oscar nominations were announced.

He began his statement by expressing graтιтude for his nomination, stating: ‘I am extremely honored to be nominated by my colleagues alongside such remarkable artists in a year of so many great films.’

‘And I never thought I’d being saying this, but I’m also incredibly honored and proud that it’s for portraying a plastic doll named Ken.’

The actor then went on to share his disappointment at Margot and Greta not being nominated, before praising them for their work on the film.

‘Against all odds with nothing but a couple of soulless, scantily clad, and thankfully crotchless dolls, they made us laugh, they broke our hearts, they pushed the culture and they made history,’ he added.

Lastly, he congratulated co-star America Ferrera, who received the Best Supporting Actress nod.

‘Having said that, I am so happy for America Ferrera and the other incredible artists who contributed their talents to making this such a groundbreaking film,’ Ryan said.
