After a 12-year wait, Riddick finally returns – this time not to fight the Necromongers on a desolate planet. He plunges straight into the Underverse: a mysterious dimension where physics is warped, souls wander, and ancient creatures awaken. This is the dark fantasy sci-fi blockbuster that Riddick fans have been dreaming of: almost Pitch Black meets Inception meets John Wick in space.

Riddick (Vin Diesel): Still the “living nightmare” with the gleaming silver eyes, but now he’s being pursued by the “Underverse curse.” After escaping Furya, he finds he inadvertently opened an ancient portal when he killed Furyan Lord. Now he must venture into the Underverse to close the portal before it devours the entire universe.

Ana de Armas plays Kael Voss – “The Underverse Warrior”: A legendary warrior born in this dimension, possessing the ability to “reality-shift” (bending the surrounding space). She was initially an enemy of Riddick (because he killed her clan in another timeline), but is forced to ally with him because of a greater “cosmic threat”: The Veil Eater – an ancient enтιтy devouring dimensions.

Big Twist: The Underverse isn’t “hell,” but rather a repository of the souls of all the deceased Riddicks from various timelines. Riddick will face hundreds of “clones” of himself – some heroes, some monsters. Kael reveals: “You’re not the last Riddick…you’re just the Riddick who’s survived.”
