Following the success of Venom: The Last Dance, Sony Marvel officially ushered Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) into the darkest chapter in the series’ history: VENOM 4: KING IN BLACK.

This time, it’s no longer about the humorous banter between Eddie and Venom. The film shifts entirely to dark cosmic horror – a high-level cosmic horror genre taken directly from Marvel’s legendary comic arc.
Plot summary:
Knull – the Dark King, who created all symbiotes from nothing, awakens and returns to Earth to reclaim his “child.” He leads a mᴀssive army of dark symbiotes, engulfing the skies of San Francisco, turning humans into zombie symbiotes, and threatening to destroy the entire planet.
Eddie Brock experiences true fear for the first time when his symbiote is “summoned” by its own creator. To survive, Eddie is forced to team up with Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in a historic team-up – two Marvel icons joining forces against the most powerful dark force ever to appear.

Highlights of the film:
The haunting black-red-silver symbiote color palette.
Cosmic-scale action: symbiote dragons, giant symbiote swords, and aerial battles.
The story focuses deeply on the origins of the symbiote and Eddie-Venom’s inner world.
Official tagline: “He forged the symbiotes from the void… Now he wants them back.”

Dream team cast:
Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom (main role).
Tom Holland as Spider-Man cameo (team-up).
Knull voiced by Andy Serkis or Javier Bardem (extremely menacing voice).
VENOM 4: KING IN BLACK is scheduled for release in Summer 2026. This isn’t just a sequel – it’s Eddie Brock’s final battle with himself and his symbiote origins.
