US Navy SEALs INTERCEPT Iranian Mine-Laying Fleet – 5 Vessels SUNK

“Sixty minutes left… The Strait of Hormuz will become a graveyard for hundreds of oil tankers.”

That was the terrifying message the U.S. Command Center received at 2:47 a.m. on March 22, 2026.

An Iranian “ghost fleet” of seven high-speed small vessels was stealthily approaching a crucial position in the Strait of Hormuz. Their mission: to lay hundreds of self-propelled smart mines – weapons capable of completely blocking the world’s vital oil shipping lane.

Once the mines were activated, 21% of the global oil supply would be cut off. Oil prices could skyrocket to $400 a barrel. And this could very well be the trigger for an unprecedented regional war.

But U.S. intelligence detected it in time.

Just 19 minutes later, the order was given coldly:

“SEAL Team 6 – Intercept and destroy. Don’t let a single ship complete the mission.”

Tenseness began to build with each pᴀssing second…

From the deep-submerged Ohio-class attack submarine USS Florida, 12 operators of Red Squadron (SEAL Team 6) were released via the SDV (Submarine Vehicle). Simultaneously, two MH-60 Seahawk helicopters flew low to the water’s surface, their searchlights switched off, plunging straight into the thick darkness.

01:14 AM – ᴅᴇᴀᴅly Stealth Phase
The SEALs shadowed the Iranian fleet from behind in the darkness. The distance narrowed to 400 meters. Everyone held their breath. A single Iranian radar scan would ruin the entire plan.

01:18 AM – Hell Breaks Out
Suddenly, an Iranian ship switched on its searchlights and spotted the task force. Alarms blared throughout the fleet. The order “Go H๏τ!” echoed through the headsets. The night instantly turned into a sea of fire.

Hellfire missiles from American helicopters roared down, tearing the first two Iranian ships into mᴀssive fireballs. Terrifying explosions echoed. IRGC soldiers panicked, firing frantically back with their 23mm machine guns. The fiery bullets streaked across the night sky.

A SEAL operator narrowly avoided being hit in the head. The SDV was hit by shrapnel but continued to speed forward. The SEALs clung to the enemy ships, placing C4 explosives while bullets whizzed around them like rain.

Tense reached its peak when the Iranian command ship activated its distress signal. The IRGC forces were less than 30 minutes away. If they arrived in time, the SEALs would be caught between two ᴅᴇᴀᴅly streams of fire.

But SEAL Team 6 gave the enemy not another second.

In just 11 minutes and 36 seconds, five Iranian ships were completely sunk to the bottom of the sea. The other two ships fled in panic. Hundreds of unexploded mines were seized and immediately neutralized by the American forces.

No SEALs were killed. Only one sustained minor injuries.

Thanks to the daring and highly precise raid in the dark, the US prevented a large-scale economic and military catastrophe. The Strait of Hormuz remained clear.

But the message sent to Tehran was clear:
Never try to lay mines in Hormuz.

Because SEALs always emerge from the deepest shadows.
