Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 Confirms Megan Fox Casting & Returning Star With Animatronic Twist

A new Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 announcement has revealed that Transformers‘ Megan Fox has joined the star-studded cast of the Blumhouse horror sequel. In addition to featuring returning stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, and Matthew Lillard, the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has already added Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Lillard’s Scream co-star Skeet Ulrich to the lineup.

ScreenRant was in attendance at the BlumFest event at 2025’s New York Comic Con, where it was revealed that Megan Fox will be voicing Toy Chica in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. It was also announced that YouTuber Matthew “MatPat” Patrick, who had a cameo in the original movie, will be returning in a new role as Toy Bonnie.

Kellen Goff, who is a voice actor from the Five Nights at Freddy’s video games, will also take on the role of Toy Freddy. The three “Toy” characters are redesigned versions of the haunted animatronics Freddy Fazbear, Chica, and Bonnie, who all appeared in 2023’s Five Nights at Freddy‘s.

These three stars join a cast that also includes Final Destination Bloodlines‘ Teo Briones, Shadow and Bone‘s Freddy Carter, and The Walking ᴅᴇᴀᴅ‘s Theodus Crane. Piper Rubio will also be reprising her role as Abby in 2025’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, which was helmed by returning director Emma Tammi and debuts in theaters on December 5.

While this casting is a natural fit for Patrick and Goff given their recent pedigrees, this marks the first time that Megan Fox has held a role in a major theatrical horror movie since 2009, when she starred opposite Amanda Seyfried in the cult classic Jennifer’s Body, which was directed by Karyn Kusama from a screenplay by Diablo Cody.

However, Fox recently starred in 2024’s Subservience, a sci-fi thriller in which she played the android Alice, who becomes self-aware and threatens the family she is supposed to be working for. While the movie has a very different tone and overall cosmology from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, it has given her some recent experience with movies about terrifying technology.

Fox is also no stranger to voice roles, having provided voices for the video games Mortal Kombat 1 and Transformers: The Game and the stop-motion animated series Robot Chicken ahead of her role as Toy Chica in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.
