Daniel Craig’s Final James Bond Movie Is Trending On Prime Video

No Time to Die is surging on streaming almost exactly four years after its original release. The 2021 movie was the final installment in the long-running Eon-produced British spy franchise to star Daniel Craig, who was the sixth actor to step into the role. He starred in five installments between 2006’s Casino Royale and No Time to Die.

Prime Video has now updated their daily chart of the Top 10 most-streamed movies on the platform in the United States, and No Time to Die has climbed to No. 4, mere days after arriving on the streaming platform on October 1.

The only movies ahead of it on the Prime Video chart are 2025 releases, namely the Scott Adkins тιтle Diablo (No. 3), the Jason Statham vehicle A Working Man (No. 2), and the new Shane Black directorial outing Play Dirty (No. 1).

One remarkable thing about the streaming success of No Time to Die is the fact that it is just one of many James Bond movies to have joined Prime Video on October 1. In fact, all 25 films from the franchise arrived on the streamer on October 1.

This includes Sean Connery’s Dr. No and From Russia with Love, George Lazenby’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Roger Moore’s A View to a Kill and For Your Eyes Only, Timothy Dalton’s Licence to Kill and The Living Daylights, Pierce Brosnan’s Die Another Day and GoldenEye, and Daniel Craig’s Casino Royale and Skyfall.

However, no other James Bond movies are ranked among the current Top 10 in the United States. The chart is filled out by other, more contemporary, тιтles, including Trolls Band Together, Novocaine, Wicked, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Burner, and Love Hurts.

While No Time to Die was a critical darling, earning a Certified Fresh score of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes and winning an Oscar, it is outranked by six other Bond тιтles on Rotten Tomatoes and several other installments in the franchise have won Oscars. This includes Skyfall, which won two.

Therefore, it seems more likely that No Time to Die has pulled ahead of the pack because it is the most recent installment in the franchise to date. Although the upcoming James Bond 26 is in the works, even five years later, it lacks an official тιтle and a lead actor.

This surge in interest in No Time to Die may be propelled by the fact that rumors about James Bond’s recasting have been swirling in the months preceding its arrival on Prime Video, with the flames being fanned by the fact that Craig’s Bond was the first to ever die onscreen, making his recasting feel even more monumental.
