This amazing Star Wars cosplay based on the young hero of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Omega, brings the Rebel Alliance’s next major hero to life. First introduced in The Bad Batch season 1, Omega is undoubtedly the heart and soul of the animated TV show, but her gentleness ought not to be mistaken for weakness.
The young girl, a female clone of Jango Fett himself, works hard under Clone Force 99’s training to learn how to protect herself and others, which sets her up for a thrilling journey as a pilot for the Rebellion someday, as seen in The Bad Batch‘s series finale. This cosplay, however, brings her more iconic look to life.
Created by @HirayaCosplay and brought to this year’s Star Wars Celebration Japan, this Omega dons her look from The Bad Batch season 2, complete with her very own helmet and the rest of her notable accessories. The only thing that’s missing from this particular pH๏τo is her Zygerrian energy bow, although @HirayaCosplay has that covered in other posts.

Here, @HirayaCosplay shares that they were looking for a background that recreated the junkyards of Bracca, as seen in The Bad Batch season 1. Their Omega strikes a heroic pose, looking off into the distance and perhaps seeing the future she will make for herself as a warrior, like her brothers, fighting for the good of the galaxy.
Will Star Wars Bring Omega’s Rebellion Story To Life?
This incredible cosplay by @HirayaCosplay that brings a younger Omega to life begs the question whether Star Wars will ever do the same, particularly with Omega’s newer story thread as a pilot for the Rebellion. Whether it be in live-action, like this cosplay, or in animation, like the source material, Omega’s story deserves to be told.
Omega would undoubtedly become one of the Rebellion’s greatest heroes, given all that she accomplished as a child alongside her brothers during the events of The Bad Batch – including the takedown of Emperor Palpatine’s Project Necromancer many years before it would ultimately resume in The Mandalorian‘s timeline.
While the continuation of Omega’s story in the future of Star Wars remains unknown, the amazing level of this cosplay proves that she truly does deserve a chance to be brought back. The Bad Batch may have come to an end, but Omega’s story deserves to live on in the same way this cosplay honors her journey.
