10 New Star Wars LEGO Sets & Minifigures We’re Expecting With The Mandalorian & Grogu

New Star Wars projects often mean new LEGO sets. This will most certainly be the case with next year’s The Mandalorian and Grogu, as upcoming models inspired by the new movie have already been rumored. However, we now have a better idea of what these sets might look like thanks to the movie’s first trailer.

In The Mandalorian and Grogu’s first official trailer, Din Djarin and his adopted son are working with the New Republic to hunt down the Imperial Remnant. They’re also shown clashing with Hutts, particularly Rotta the Hutt, son of Jabba. Keeping that in mind, here are all the Mandalorian and Grogu LEGO sets and minifigures we’re hoping to see next year.

The New Razor Crest

Naturally, the return of a brand-new Razor Crest is a whole new opportunity for merch and collectibles. Because the first one was destroyed by Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian season 2, Din Djarin had been piloting a custom N-1 Naboo Starfighter in The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian season 3.

However, it seems as though Djarin will be getting his hands on a new Razor Crest model in the upcoming movie with yellow highlights, a key parallel to the N-1.

Some collectors might be more interested in simply modding the Razor Crest models they already have with some yellow pieces (either the playscale or UCS models). However, a potential new Razor Crest LEGO set next year will likely appeal to builders who missed out on the original model the first time.

AT-AT

An AT-AT Exploding In The Mandalorian

First shown in exclusive footage from D23 and Star Wars Celebration, The Mandalorian and Grogu’s first official trailer features even more sH๏τs of Din Djarin taking down a convoy of Imperial AT-AT walkers.

A new AT-AT LEGO model would be most welcome. Excluding 2021’s mᴀssive UCS AT-AT and this year’s smaller gingerbread holiday model, there hasn’t been a full play-scale AT-AT since 2020 for The Empire Strikes Back’s 40th anniversary. To that end, The Mandalorian and Grogu’s release next year is the perfect excuse to roll out a brand-new AT-AT model.

Vulture Droids

Despite being set in The New Republic timeline post-original trilogy, The Mandalorian and Grogu’s new trailer shows the new Razor Crest pursued by what looks to be a trio of Clone Wars-era Vulture Droids.

Din Djarin’s no stranger to dealing with Separatist droids, as seen in The Mandalorian season 3. Likewise, small pockets of still-active battle droids did survive the Clone Wars and were never decommissioned, according to the official canon. At any rate, it’s been quite some time since LEGO released a play-scale Vulture Droid set (2014), so this could be really cool.

Perhaps we could even see a combo pack with a Vulture Droid and the new Razor Crest, not unlike LEGO’s Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor (75348). This would likely result in the Razor Crest being a somewhat smaller build, which might not be a big deal for collectors who already own the original Razor Crest.

The New Republic’s Adelphi Base

Based on the new trailer, it looks as though Din Djarin and Grogo are receiving orders at the New Republic’s Aldelphi Base located in the Outer Rim.

This was the same New Republic base where Djarin initially struck a deal with Captain Carson Teva at the end of The Mandalorian season 3, and where the beloved Rebels hero Zeb Orellios made his live-action debut. A diorama or facade of the base and barracks could be pretty cool, perhaps mirroring LEGO’s Yavin 4 Rebel Base (75365).

Hutt Cartel Mech Warriors

Mandalorian vs Hutt Cartel Mechs in Mandalorian & Grogu Trailer

There’s a very exciting sH๏τ in The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer where Din Djarin takes on two mechanized warriors guarding a mᴀssive vault door that looks to be owned by the Hutts. LEGO’s been all about Star Wars mechs recently, and it’d be pretty cool to have some canonical versions (rather than random mech builds we’ve never actually seen on-screen).

Mantellian Savrip

In the established Star Wars canon, our first introduction to the fearsome creature known as the Mantellian Savrip was in A New Hope, a game piece among several creature figures that make up the classic Star Wars holo-chess game Dejarik.

Now, we’re finally going to see a real Savrip in a gladiatorial arena fighting Din Djarin. It would be a crime not to have what will more than likely be an epic showdown in brick-built form next year.

Grogu & Anzellan Speeder

The Mandalorian and Grogu’s trailer teases that Grogu will be venturing on a side mission with a trio of Anzellans at some point in the new Star Wars movie. With that in mind, a LEGO set of small heroes on their featured speeder feels like a no-brainer, whether it’s play-scale or as a larger scale model.

The New Republic’s Col. Ward

Joining the Star Wars galaxy for the first time with The Mandalorian and Grogu, iconic sci-fi actress Sigourney Weaver will be playing Col. Ward, who looks to be Din Djarin and Grogu’s official New Republic liaison, ᴀssigning missions.

I’m really hoping we’ll get Weaver’s Col. Ward as a LEGO minifigure, perhaps with the aforementioned Adelphi Base set when and if that set gets made. This would be Weaver’s fourth LEGO minifigure ever, following Ghostbuster’s Dana Barrett and the Avatar franchise’s Grace Augustine & Kiri (I’m still waiting for LEGO to do Alien sets so we can get Ellen Ripley).

Zeb Orrellios

Zeb in Mandalorian & Grogu Trailer

Despite being an iconic character from Star Wars Rebels, Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios has only been a LEGO minifigure once, and was only featured in a single set: LEGO’s original Ghost model, released in 2014.

This means that Zeb has become quite a rare and valuable minifigure. That said, it does seem likely that Zeb will be getting an all-new LEGO minifigure next year. Not only did exclusive footage show him in the new Razor Crest alongside Din Djarin and Grogu, but the official trailer saw Zeb taking down Imperials, presumably becoming a key ally to Djarin and his son.

Rotta The Hutt, Son of Jabba

Rotta the Hutt in Mandalorian and Grogu

Last but not least is Rotta the Hutt, which has to be my most hoped-for LEGO minifigure. Just picture a LEGO Hutt big fig like Jabba. However, we have to remember Rotta’s incredibly muscular arms (easy to do, as they’re pretty hard to forget).

The proposal is simple: A classic Hutt big fig that reuses LEGO Hulk’s arms. You can’t tell me that wouldn’t be perfect for Rotta the Hutt, and I would absolutely hate it if we didn’t get the adult version of the returning character next year (we got Baby Rotta way back in 2008 when LEGO released sets inspired by The Clone Wars movie).

The Mandalorian and Grogu releases in theaters on May 22nd, 2026
