Avengers: Doomsday Reveals Doctor Doom Design, His Powers And 4 Avengers Team Logos

The first look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom has been revealed in a new Avengers: Doomsday teaser. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been hurtling through The Multiverse Saga since Phase 4 began with 2021’s Black Widow, and 2025 marked the beginning of the end, following the launch of Phase 6 with The Fantastic Four: First Steps this summer.

The Avengers: Doomsday cast is currently filming one the current phase’s final installments, and even Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have returned for the film. Most surprisingly, while the Iron Man actor is back in the MCU, he will now portray one of Marvel’s most famous villains.

A new Avengers: Doomsday light show was previewed at the Walt Disney Studios Marketing Expo in Shanghai, as the promo (via @CultureCrave) has made its way online, giving a first look at Victor von Doom, as well as a few team logos. Check it out below:

The teaser also gives a taste of the Marvel foe’s iconic powers from the comics, while showcasing him atop his throne. Several Avengers: Doomsday cast members have finished filming their scenes, but principal pH๏τography is still underway.

As Avengers: Doomsday reaches the end of production, it makes sense that a marketing push, even a small one, has begun. Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU timeline is arguably the biggest piece of news about the film, so it’s a smart thing to tease.

However, given that Victor’s disfigurement is one of the most famous aspects of his comic history, the audience will most likely not be seeing Downey Jr.’s face through marketing until the actual movie is released. But getting a great tease of both his live-action costume and powers is a solid first step towards building anticipation for the film.

With Victor set to shake up this franchise forever, the build-up to his introduction in 2026 is already exciting, expecially given how little they have shared so far. The bigger question, however, is how future marketing will be done for Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom as Marvel Studios gets closer to Avengers: Doomsday‘s 2026 release.

As the Marvel legend will also be part of the Avengers: Secret Wars cast, there is still so much left to be revealed about the MCU’s take on Victor, given the way they are using Downey Jr. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before more glimpses of Doctor Doom are revealed from Avengers: Doomsday.
