This stunning Star Wars cosplay depicts a thrilling team-up between the one and only Ahsoka Tano and one of Star Wars’ most interesting Disney-era characters. Since her debut in the 2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie, Ahsoka Tano has become an intrinsic part of Star Wars‘ storytelling, appearing in shows like Star Wars Rebels and The Mandalorian, and leading her very own live-action series.
One of the few Disney-era Star Wars shows Ahsoka hasn’t appeared in is Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which follows a group of rogue, enhanced clones in the aftermath of Order 66 and the Empire’s takeover of the galaxy. Traveling with them is Omega, a headstrong, brave, and loving young female clone who merely wants a family and a taste of freedom.
This cosplay by @HirayaCosplay and @claires.alter.egos rectifies the fact that Ahsoka and Omega have never met before in Star Wars canon. @claires.alter.egos’ impressive Ahsoka Tano cosplay showcases the former Jedi’s late Clone Wars era outfit and dual blue lightsabers. @HirayaCosplay’s wonderful Omega cosplay recreates the young heroine’s helmet and her undeniably cool Zygerrian energy bow.

While we all know and love Ahsoka’s dual lightsabers – which have gone from green to blue before settling on pure white – Omega’s Zygerrian energy bow is one of the most interesting weapons in Star Wars’ lore. The bow fires laser bolts rather than arrows. Its pink glow makes it an interesting visual addition to any firefight, and it’s great to see it represented in this fantastic Star Wars cosplay.
How Could Ahsoka And Omega Meet In Star Wars?
Despite Ahsoka and Omega having never met before, there are plenty of ways for them to meet in the future. As @HirayaCosplay points out in her X post, both Ahsoka and Omega are connected to Rebel/New Republic General Hera Syndulla and clone trooper Captain Rex. It’s their shared connection to Hera that seems to be the most likely route for them to cross paths, however.
Hera and Omega met when they were kids in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, bonding over their shared love of space and piloting. Years later, in The Bad Batch finale, an older Omega reveals she’s going to become a pilot for the Rebel Alliance, putting her on the same level as Hera, who piloted the Ghost for the Rebellion in Star Wars Rebels.
Interestingly, part of Omega’s story and her background as a clone were also connected to Palpatine’s cloning experiments; specifically, his need to create a clone that could wield the Force. However, in the show, it was never confirmed whether Omega was able to wield the Force, despite her impressive midi-chlorian count.
If Omega does end up being a Force-wielder, there’s even a chance we’ll see her interact with New Republic-era Luke Skywalker, who, of course, also knows Ahsoka. She could become one of his students, though this does mean her story would most likely end in tragedy, considering Kylo Ren’s attack on Luke’s Jedi Temple before the events of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
Given where Ahsoka and her current apprentice, the Mandalorian Sabine Wren, are trapped far, far away in another galaxy in Ahsoka season 2, it seems unlikely they’ll meet Omega any time soon. Nevertheless, the door for these wonderful Star Wars heroes to meet remains open. It would be a great way for Star Wars to continue Omega’s story after The Bad Batch‘s series finale.

The apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano was an accomplished Padawan who served during the Clone Wars. Ahsoka left the Jedi after she became disillusioned with the Jedi Council, but returned to serve in the Siege of Mandalore at the end of the Clone Wars. She survived Order 66, becoming a Rebel agent during the Dark Times of the Empire’s reign, and her adventures continue in the New Republic era. Ahsoka was last seen stranded in a distant galaxy, having failed to prevent Grand Admiral Thrawn’s return.

A mysterious mutant clone created by the Kaminoans, Omega longed to get away from Kamino and explore the galaxy. She was rescued from the Empire by Clone Force 99, and soon became the heart of the team. The Empire still view Omega as valuable, though, and all signs indicate her story could well end in tragedy.
