Sadie Sink is the daughter of Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker in exciting Spider-Man: Brand New Day art. Tom Holland will soon return to the big screen as Spider-Man for the first time since the wall-crawler’s last Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Regarded as one of the best Spider-Man movies ever, the project brought Maguire back.
The multiverse allowed that to happen, with Maguire’s Spider-Man being sent back to his reality at the end of the film. While Spider-Man: Brand New Day‘s story is said to be street-level, which does not mix with the big multiverse spectacle of No Way Home, rumors persist that Sink, who is confirmed for the next Spider-Man movie’s cast, is playing Maguire’s daughter.
On Instagram, @welove__marvel imagined what Sadie Sink could look like as Mayday Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Mayday comes from the pages of Marvel Comics, being the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. Like her father, she has powers, growing up to become a superhero of her own. The MCU fan art gives Sink a solid costume that is a mix of Mayday’s comic book design and modern MCU suits.
What The Sadie Sink As Mayday Parker Spider-Man: Brand New Day Art Means
While the fan art does a good job of showcasing how exciting having Sink as the daughter of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man in Brand New Day would be, there are no official signs at this time that the MCU is going in that direction with that casting. At the time of writing, Sink’s character is still undisclosed, and that might last until 2026.
That said, there is a lot of potential in that idea. While Spider-Man: Brand New Day is unlikely to feature Maguire or Andrew Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man, including Sink as Mayday would connect the street-level Marvel movie to the multiverse aspects that made No Way Home gross nearly $2 billion. The character’s true idenтιтy could even be revealed at the end of the movie.
Mayday could act in Spider-Man: Brand New Day under another name before eventually revealing herself and leading to Spider-Man’s story in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars. That said, Sink could very well be playing a few other Spider-Man-related characters. Rumors have ranged from an alternate universe’s Mary Jane to the MCU’s Gwen Stacy to even X-Men’s Jean Grey, which would be shocking.
Our Take On The Sadie Sink As Mayday Parker Spider-Man: Brand New Day Art
With her Stranger Things history, Sadie Sink is more than ready to play a big role in a popular cinematic franchise. The actress could handle the pressure that comes with that well, and she has a proven talent for making characters into fan-favorites. Stranger Things’ Max has grit and determination that would translate well into a superhero role for Sink.
Playing against Mayday Parker is the fact that the movie seems firmly set on a street-level route. As such, characters like Gwen Stacy, whom Peter first met in college, where Tom Holland’s version should be in the MCU movie, or Black Cat, a street-level anti-hero with a double life, would perhaps be more fitting for Sink’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
