Prime Video’s New Emotional Romance Movie Is A Must Watch If You Love Outer Banks Or Riverdale

Outer Banks is one of the most popular shows today, and the show’s biggest star has united with one of the stars of Riverdale for one of the best new romance movies on Prime Video. As audiences wait for season 5 of the Netflix hit, they have turned to other recommendations, including The Summer I Turned Pretty, in the meantime.

Both Outer Banks and Riverdale have told contemporary mysteries featuring a strong young cast. Riverdale‘s cast, after the end of its series run, have now gone on to other great projects. Charles Melton recently appeared in May December, while Camila Mendes is set for a main role in next year’s Masters of the Universe.

Outer Banks‘ cast, filled with great young stars, is certain to follow a similar trajectory. Chase Stokes was recently featured in Netflix’s Uglies, and other actors from the show have been consistently in talks for all kinds of projects since its release. Outer Banks‘ biggest and best star, however, shines in a new Prime Video drama this weekend.

Outer Banks’ Madelyn Cline & Riverdale’s KJ Apa Star In The Map That Leads To You

The Map that Leads to You is out this week, and unites Riverdale‘s KJ Apa with Outer Banks‘ Madelyn Cline in a stirring and emotional romantic drama. With a strong supporting cast, the new streaming movie tells the story of Cline’s Heather, a young American woman with a plan for her future, coming to the end of a European vacation.

As she and her friends finish the last legs of their travel, she meets Jack, a free-spirited young New Zealander, played by Apa. The two bond over Hemingway, and eventually develop a romance, accompanying one another through their travels. Heather even becomes unexpectedly flexible, extending her trip to spend more time with Jack.

Unfortunately, all is not as it seems, and the film takes a difficult turn when it is revealed that Jack has a painful secret. The powerful new streaming movie examines bonds, the permanence of relationships, and embracing the things in life that matter most.

Best of all, reviews for The Map that Leads to You have been positive. The framing of the film, including its displays of beautiful European locations and seascapes, make for some luxurious sH๏τs, and the chemistry between Cline and Apa is especially strong.

With Riverdale finished, and Outer Banks not returning until next year, audiences have been in dire need a romantic drama fix with these beloved stars. Fortunately, The Map that Leads to You is now streaming on Prime Video, and is a must-watch as the summer comes to its end.
