The Hunger Games and Hidden Figures stars are leading a new adaptation of Death of a Salesman. Written by Arthur Miller and first premiered in 1949, the play follows a traveling salesman, Willy Loman, who is disheartened with life and drifting into senility, but after a near-fatal accident and failed business trip to Boston, he begins prioritizing his family over his relentless career.
Death of a Salesman is widely regarded as one of the greatest plays ever written. It won the 1949 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play, and has been revived on Broadway five times, earning three more Tony Awards for Best Revival. It’s also been adapted into 10 different feature films, and now, a new one is on the way.

Wright is set to portray Willy Loman, with Spencer taking on the role of his wife, Linda Loman. Chinonye Chukwu will direct and co-write the script alongside Tony Kushner.
