Spider-Man 4 Adds Mission: Impossible 8 Star In Mystery Role

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has added its latest cast member to Spider-Man: Brand New Day. After being gone from the MCU timeline since 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland will finally be back as Peter Parker in Phase 6 through Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as the movie is currently filming.

Following Spider-Man: No Way Home ending, Holland’s MCU hero will now be on his own, as the world no longer knows who Peter is, thanks to Doctor Strange’s game-changing spell. As production kicked off earlier this month, new details are finally emerging about Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

According to Variety, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and Severance star Tramell Tillman has boarded Spider-Man: Brand New Day in a mystery role. At the time of this story’s publication, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures has not commented on Tillman’s casting.

The actor joins several new Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast members, including Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas, who have also been tapped in secret roles. Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion will also appear.

Who Tramell Tillman Could Be Playing In Spider-Man 4

Even though specifics have yet to be revealed on the Spider-Man: Brand New Day story, it wouldn’t be shocking if Tillman plays a villain, given the secrecy surrounding his character. It’s even possible that Tillman could play the central antagonist, as it’s still unknown who the main threat in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is.

However, given that Peter is starting a new phase in his life, Tillman could also be playing a new ally. Since MJ and Ned no longer remember who Peter is, the wall-crawler will certainly be in need of new friends and supportive figures.

With Tillman’s star on the rise, the MCU has landed an incredible new cast member for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, especially if he ends up playing a crucial role in the story. The timing of his Spider-Man: Brand New Day casting announcement is also interesting, given that principal pH๏τography is already underway.

It’s possible that Tillman could start shooting his Spider-Man: Brand New Day scenes soon, which could come with clues as to who he is playing in the film through the release of set pH๏τos or videos. Hopefully, Tillman’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day character will be revealed sooner rather than later.
